Running Kali in Virtual Machine


If you are confused whether you should dual boot Kali or use it on a virtual machine, you should read my previous post at https://goo.gl/NkkH78

Things required:
Minimum 10gb of free Hard Disk/SSD space
Minimum 6gb RAM
A little patience

Stuff that needs to be downloaded:
Kali(64 bit is preferred): https://kali.org/downloads/
Virtual Box: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

Procedure:
1) Run Oracle VirtualBox.

2) Click on New at the upper left corner of the application.

3) Enter the name as 'Kali'.

4) Select the type as Linux and Version as Debian(64bit or 32bit depending on the Kali Iso that you downloaded.



5) Allocate minimum 4GB of Ram.

6)Create a virtual hard disk.

7)Select VDI.

8)Choose dynamic allocation.

9) Allocate Minimum 10gb.

10)Now Double click on Kali and select your kali.iso

11)Enjoy Hacking with Kali.

Always remember to use Kali for helpful purposes and not use it to cause harm.
